Mothers' Climate Action Network supports mums to take collective action. We are an organisation run by mums for mums who all want a safe and liveable climate, both now and for further generations.
We believe that mothers hold power, particularly when we work together, and our aim at Mothers CAN is to help more mums across the UK harness their power to make real, positive change in their local communities.
No experience is required to join us. Whether you’re completely new to taking collective action, or you’re a seasoned activist, Mothers CAN is here to help you develop leadership skills, connect with like-minded and climate-aware parents in your area, and organise campaigns for change.

![This International Women's Day, we are celebrating the power of women leading the way in climate action. Mothers CAN is growing a network of female climate leaders, equipping mums with the skills and confidence to take action in their communities.
The Mother's Climate Action Network Buckingham group have most recently run a campaign for Clean Air Day 2024, working with children in the Eco Council at a local school, and are continuing to work with Town Councillors on the issue of air quality around schools. They also ran a successful event for Big Green Week.
Exeter mums are planning a Cycle to School week to coincide with Y5 Bikeability training. Activities will include free bike safety checks courtesy of a local bike shop and a second-hand bike sale, with certificates and raffle entries for all children who bike to school that week (raffle prizes have been donated by local bike shops). The event will also raise money for a local charity working to make cycling affordable and accessible to all, and there will be a 'Bike Showroom' for parents to try out other parents’ cargo/electric bikes. Teachers will be doing a sponsored stationary bike ride in the playground at break times, and they will also be a launching a Bike Bus.
Mums in the Leigh on Sea group have just launched a new beer to raise awareness of seagrass, with 10% of profits going to the Essex Wildlife Trust.
